Scarlet Knitwear is a colourful knitwear brand founded in 2018 by designer Laura Ukstina. Inspired by traditional knitwear and a love of bold, bright colour, the brand combines heritage patterns with modern geometric designs to create playful, expressive pieces with a contemporary feel.
Ethics and sustainability are central to the brand. Scarlet Knitwear works exclusively with responsibly sourced natural fibres such as lambswool and cashmere, and partners only with trusted Scottish mills that share a commitment to quality, ethical production, and craftsmanship.
Each piece is either made in the Lochgelly studio using hand-powered vintage knitting machines or produced in small batches at specialist luxury knitwear mills across Scotland.
