Founder Ruby Friel has led a career as a florist and product designer. When designing she would travel the world for inspiration - it was always her adventures around the unique, independent boutiques that she enjoyed the most during these trips. Still Life Story is a carefully curated collection of the most gorgeous products, brands and makers that Ruby discovered on her world travels.

The product range has been selected to transcend fast moving trends and help you choose items that you will want to treasure forever. The emphasis is on well made products using natural materials and local resources wherever possible. 

Ruby opened the shop in March 2020, during her maternity leave with daughter Edie. She is now joined by shop team; Luca (artist & creator) & Rebecca (florist). Together they have a shared vision to create a friendly, welcoming and inclusive shopping experience as well as share a belief that great design and craftsmanship has the potential to positively effect how we feel.
