Stoneware mug, hand thrown on the wheel with a handle attach by hand.
Fired once to 1000 degrees celsius, then stamped, waxed, and dipped into a glossy transparent glaze. A harlequin pattern is painted by hand on top of the glaze using cobalt oxide. Once dry the piece is ready for its final 1230 degree firing.
