Isis Maakestad, born in 1986, is a visual artist and illustrator based in Gothenburg. In 2016, she graduated from The Art Academy in Bergen, Norway. Isis moves between different art forms: painting, illustration, collage, and more recently ceramics. She works with a muted color palette and decorative negative spaces in an instinctive and natural way. For Fine Little Day, Maakestad has designed several textile patterns and products.
