A collared neck allows you to pinch and spoon when seasoning without the salt spilling out. Hand-thrown and then trimmed on my potters wheel to their final form over roughly 2 days. Once completely dry I carefully transport to a nearby studio and ‘bisque’ fire to 1000 degrees in an electric kiln.
